How do credits work?

The total cost for a translation request is determined as follows:
- Base cost: 0.15 credits per image
- Character cost: Based on the character count in the image
For example:
- If you use Gemini 2.0 Flash, Grok 2, GPT-4o-mini or Deepseek, the character cost will be relatively low, so the total cost for each image will not be affected much by the character count
On average, a translation with 100 character will cost total ~0.16 credits - When using Google translate, the character cost is very high, so the total cost for each image will depend on the character count
On average, a Google translation with 100 character will cost total ~0.48 credits - When using GPT-4o, the character cost is high, so the total cost for each image will depend on the character count
On average, a translation with 100 character will cost total ~0.45 credits
A translation with no detected text will not be charged any credits
Is DeepL free to use?

Yes, DeepL is a free option, you will not be charged any credits (including base cost) when using DeepL, but the limitation is that it's only available with 500,000 characters per month shared for all users, if you want to use more, subscribe to our plans and provide your own API key to use
Compare between translation models?

- Gemini 2.0 Flash, Grok 2, GPT-4o-mini, Deepseek: High quality, low price, slow
- DeepL: Medium quality, free, relatively fast, but sometimes can generate weird translation
- Google: Medium quality, high price, extremely fast
- GPT-4o: High quality, high price, slow
We recommend using Gemini 2.0 Flash or Grok 2 because they give the best translation quality, low price and a bit faster than GPT-4o-mini, Deepseek
When to use the Frame Translate feature?

In some websites restricted image access, we can't get the image data using normal Translate feature, and when reading Manhwa, Manhua, the rendered image is a long strip, cutted arbitrarily anywhere in the strip (see the example), so when you use the normal Translate feature, it can cause missing/cutting text when translating, you can consider using the Frame Translate feature when encountering the above cases, check here to see how to use it

What is the Bubble text feature in Frame Translate?

Bubble text checkbox is a feature let you choose the type of the return translation, if checked, the translated return will be an overlay bubble text, if not checked, the translated return will be an image
Advantaged and Disadvantaged:
- Translation will be faster because there's no inpainting image time
- Easier to read Manhwa, Manhua in a longstrip because you don't need to hide the translation before scroll to the next position
- Can't be downloaded
Can I use credits and subscription together?

Yes, when you use unlimited models in the subscription plan, you will not be charged any credits, if you use other models, you will be charged as usual
What is proration?

When you change from basic plan to premium plan, the change will take effect immediately, but you will only be charged the proration of the billing
For example, if you upgrade to premium plan in the middle of the current basic plan, your bill will be subtracted by the 1/2 price of the basic plan
